Something very exciting and special is coming to The New Hope Inn & Suites showroom on Saturday January 18th, 2025 for a very special show with the legendary Stormin’ Norman Seldin leading the two piano show along with his partner Ryan Gregg. Norman is a legendary pianist since the age of three, a Steinway & Sons “Spirio” recording artist, owns his own record label, band leader, plus has appeared at such concert halls as the Academy of Music – Philadelphia, PA (3 times), Madison Square Garden, NYC, The White House Grounds – Washington, DC for the South Eastern Tourism Society, New Orleans, LA (multiple shows and conventions), and produced over 350 shows and made well over two thousand world wide appearances. Beside having his twelve piece “Tribute to New Orleans Band”, his appearances with “The Unique Piano Duet” is not a dueling pianos, but a complete full song show from Jerry Lee Lewis, Big Joe Turner, Elton John, James Taylor, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins, thrown in with ragtime, blues, and even a touch of Liberace, plus Phantom of the Opera! Norman’s 9th album is scheduled to late 2025. Norman started formal piano lessons at the age of three and finished Manhattan School of Music at fourteen before starting on his own course away from the classical field. His fingers fly across the piano no matter what the genre, and his vocals from Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, Elton John, and even Jimmy Buffett are all things you’ll hear. His younger very talented partner Ryan Gregg graduated from the University of Miami (Music School), has been heard with The Shady Street Show Band, The Asbury Park Stompers, plus traveled all over the USA as a requested piano, organ, and vocalist for dozens. Norman was the youngest pianist at 13 to join the American Federation of Musicians with special permission from the executive board in Chicago at the time.
