Mama’s Black Sheep has been making music and touring extensively for over 15 years. The duo has five well received albums\, including their newest release “Fight Back With Love”(Oct.2024)(www.mamasblacksheep.com) \n\n\n\nColleen Clark is a musician and audio engineer in Salisbury\, MD. Originally from Rehoboth Beach\, DE\, Colleen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Music Theory from the University of Notre Dame (South Bend\, IN) and a Master of Arts in Audio Science from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore\, MD). She studied guitar with Don Savoie and drum kit with Billy “Stix” Nicks. In the past\, she has also performed with Mama’s Black Sheep\, Red Letter Day\, the Zen Monkeys\, Wicked Jezebel\, and SONIA disappear fear and worked as producer and recording engineer on a variety of projects\, including two full-length albums of her own music. Colleen also works as a freelance live sound engineer and serves as the front-of-house engineer at both the Virginia Women’s Music Festival and the National Women’s Music Festival in Middleton\, WI. She has run sound for many artists on the Women’s Music circuit\, including Holly Near\, Cris Williamson\, Tret Fure\, Deidre McCalla\, Dianne Davidson\, Barbara Higbie & Teresa Trull\, Bitch\, Erin McKeown\, Gaye Adegbalola & the Wild Rutz\, and Sharon Katz & the Peace Train. From 2015-2019\, Regina was half of the country/folk duo\, Porter & Sayles. The duo had the opportunity to open for Pat Benatar\, The Steve Miller Band\, Frankie Ballard\, and Dan+Shea. Porter & Sayles released their self-titled debut album in 2016 and released two additional singles in their time together. In 2019\, the duo earned a spot as a featured act on the Melissa Etheridge Cruise. \n\n\n\nIn July 2023\, Regina was invited to compete as an emerging artist at the 47th annual National Women’s Music Festival in Madison\, WI. Thanks to the support of the festival goers\, she won the contest and will return to Madison as a headliner this past July\, 2024. \n\n\n\nRegina just finished recording a new EP\, “Singles\,” thanks to her fans who supported her Kickstarter campaign in early 2023. She was thrilled to record in Oakland\, CA and work with producer\, Julie Wolf who also produced her previous single\, “Rollin’ in the Hay.” Regina released the first single of the EP\, “For This Love\,” along with a music video on October 11th\, 2024. DESCRIPTION:Two Philly guitarists bring their rock/fusion sound to songs from Stevie Wonder\, The Beatles\, Jimi Hendrix\, and funk/blues classics on this night of guitar driven music. \n\n\n\nVahe Sarkissian is a Philly based guitarist who performs Middle-Eastern based fusion in the context of rock\, funk\, and jazz along with a 2 handed tapping style of guitar influenced by Stanley Jordan. This can be heard on his most recent album “Curcuna.” He performed/worked with Earl Slick (John Lennon\, David Bowie)\, Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater\, Deep Purple\, KISS)\, Gerald Veasley\, Keiko Matsui\, in addition to opening up for artists such as Victor Wooten\,Slash (Guns N’ Roses)\, Shinedown\, The Roots\, Greg Howe\, Greg Koch\,and Ritchie Kotzen (Poison). The early part of his career began at the age of 14 traveling the U.S. playing Middle-Eastern music. Soon after\, he received his Master’s from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia where he studied with Jazz virtuoso’s Pat Martino and Jimmy Bruno. Norman is a legendary pianist since the age of three\, a Steinway & Sons “Spirio” recording artist\, owns his own record label\, band leader\, plus has appeared at such concert halls as the Academy of Music – Philadelphia\, PA (3 times)\, Madison Square Garden\, NYC\, The White House Grounds – Washington\, DC for the South Eastern Tourism Society\, New Orleans\, LA (multiple shows and conventions)\, and produced over 350 shows and made well over two thousand world wide appearances. Beside having his twelve piece “Tribute to New Orleans Band”\, his appearances with “The Unique Piano Duet” is not a dueling pianos\, but a complete full song show from Jerry Lee Lewis\, Big Joe Turner\, Elton John\, James Taylor\, Screamin’ Jay Hawkins\, thrown in with ragtime\, blues\, and even a touch of Liberace\, plus Phantom of the Opera! Norman’s 9th album is scheduled to late 2025. Norman started formal piano lessons at the age of three and finished Manhattan School of Music at fourteen before starting on his own course away from the classical field. His fingers fly across the piano no matter what the genre\, and his vocals from Ray Charles\, Joe Cocker\, Elton John\, and even Jimmy Buffett are all things you’ll hear. His younger very talented partner Ryan Gregg graduated from the University of Miami (Music School)\, has been heard with The Shady Street Show Band\, The Asbury Park Stompers\, plus traveled all over the USA as a requested piano\, organ\, and vocalist for dozens. Norman was the youngest pianist at 13 to join the American Federation of Musicians with special permission from the executive board in Chicago at the time. DESCRIPTION:Mark Cosgrove’s distinctive\, creative flatpicking sound has been heard all over the US and Europe\, as well as in Australia and Japan. A lot of this exposure and travel is due to Mark’s association with Americana and roots music icon David Bromberg. In addition to touring with the Grammy nominated David Bromberg Quintet and Big Band\, Mark had the great good fortune to be featured on the three most recent recordings of David’s\, the latest of which\, Big Road\, reached Number One on Billboard’s Blues Chart for multiple weeks. The previous release\, The Blues\, The Whole Blues\, And Nothing But The Blues\, was selected by The Downbeat Magazine’s Critics Poll as 2017 Blues Album of the Year. In the Bromberg bands\, Mark plays acoustic and electric guitar and mandolin\, and sings harmony vocals.Mark’s other musical projects include recording and producing with his own band\, Good Medicine\, and others in the bluegrass and acoustic and electric music realm.
